Thinking about yesterday morning when I just woke up, grey clouds gave me the fears because its the day where I am going back to Hong Kong from Beijing. On the aircraft, the pilots said:” Good morning ladies and gentlemen, thank you for boarding Dragonair. We will soon be flying to Hong Kong, the time now is 10:05 in the morning, we will be arrive at Hong Kong at 1:30 in the afternoon, umm… we won’t have a smooth trail back and we will encounter some turbulence, so keep yourself seated and seatbelts fasten all times please. Thanks you and hope you enjoy the flight.” And they also said that the last trip to Beijing wasn’t a good trip. So i was mentally prepared. We took off and when we reach a certain height, we were enjoying ourselves!! Then after lunch, the horror came. A stewardess went to the back cabin and pick up a phone, then she hung the previous phone and went to the front cabin and picked up a phone and said,:”Ladies and gentlemen, we’ll be encountering some turbulence so please be seated.” After she finished talking, I felt some force that is pushing us down to our chairs, then there was some light stall and major turbulence, we were shaking around, and some people were frightened. We kept descending and we could see Hone Kong, we thought it was totally over, but we were wrong. Then we flew into clear sky but it was shaking so terribly that some people woke up and shocked. We weren’t banking to left nor right. It was shifting from left to right hardly. I saw an old lady putting her palms together praying. I thought it was the end. Then there was a stall. Everybody was like up from they’re seats. When its landing, the wind was so strong that the pilots were forced to mae a crosswind landing. It was horrible, we landed in a smooth way then it turned hardly to the right. Remind me not to go anywere long distance!! Now i am looking forward to my trip to China again and England.
